About Organizing Circle
Organizing Circle is a home and lifestyle organizing service based in Pune that helps people move from clutter and stress to clarity and ease using mindful organization. The work includes wardrobe resets, accessories organization, and decluttering sessions designed around each client’s lifestyle.
Role overview
This internship is ideal for a student or fresher who loves Instagram, YouTube, and storytelling, and wants hands‑on experience growing a real service business online. You will help plan, create, and publish content, engage with our community, and turn audience interest into qualified leads (which the founder will handle).
Responsibilities
- Plan a simple monthly content calendar for Instagram, YouTube, and WhatsApp aligned with Organizing Circle’s key services (wardrobe resets, accessories, decluttering, etc.).
- Join the founder on selected onsite client projects in and around Pune (with client consent) to capture before–after photos and short video clips of the organizing process and behind‑the‑scenes.
- Use weekly raw footage to edit Reels, Stories, YouTube Shorts, and simple long‑form videos using tools like CapCut, InShot, or Canva.
- Design basic Instagram posts and thumbnails in Canva that fit the calm, supportive Organizing Circle brand.
- Write clear, friendly captions and select relevant hashtags, occasionally using Hindi/Marathi phrases where appropriate for an Indian audience.
- Post and schedule content consistently on:
- Instagram: feed posts, Reels, Stories
- YouTube: Shorts and occasional longer videos
- WhatsApp: group/community messages, prompts, links to new content
- Acknowledge comments and DMs on Instagram and YouTube, and pass all leads/inquiries to the founder using a simple format (e.g., screenshot + brief summary).
- Share gentle engagement prompts in the WhatsApp community (polls, small declutter tasks, questions, mini‑challenges) to keep members active and supported.
- Track basic metrics weekly (followers, reach, views, comments, saves, shares, and number of leads passed) in a simple Google Sheet.
- Attend a short weekly check‑in call to review progress, content ideas, and feedback.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of 3 months, you will:
- Understand how to plan and run social media content for a niche service business across Instagram, YouTube, and WhatsApp.
- Build a portfolio of Reels, Shorts, and posts you have created for a real brand.
- Gain practical experience in community engagement, basic analytics, and storytelling for a home‑organization audience.
Requirements:
- Strong interest in social media, content creation, and home/lifestyle/organization.
- Basic familiarity with Instagram Reels and YouTube; comfort shooting on a phone and learning simple video‑editing apps.
- Good written English; conversational Hindi or Marathi is a plus.
- Comfortable using Canva (or ready to learn quickly).
- Based in or near Pune and willing to travel locally for client shoots on project days (travel reimbursed as per policy).
- Organized, reliable, and open to feedback and experimentation.
No prior professional experience is mandatory; students and freshers are welcome.
